Tried this location yesterday - got a late start hit the water from 3 -6 pm. Surface water temperature 49 - 53 degrees. Caught a long skinny 2 lb LM, also noticed the beavers had damed up the entrance into the big flat.

Its beautiful up through there but its not far to the NC line from the ramp. I haven't seen any signs letting you know where the line is but I know the second sand dredging place is in NC.
