I used to use the "spoonbill" Rebels,{the Last Secret Bait of the Pros!!LOL} but they didn't throw to well. I like the DD78 and Stay-See in Lucky Craft....Looking hard at the DD100 Pointer...Can't stand any Rouge in any shade/form or model.....I just really dis-like them.

What you need to find is some Shad Color HUSKY13 FLOATING Rapalas....Not to be confussed w/ the Husky Jerks...[they are only slightly better than a Rouge}They quit making them several years ago. The Hands down Big Fish Floating JB ever made IMHO

I would love to have one of those(Shad Color HUSKY13 FLOATING Rapalas) old lure. I haven't seen one of those in about 15 to 20 year now. I had one of them and let my Uncle use it and he let a fish take from him. :cry:

. You may want to try the Rapala long bill I've done well on them. I never tried the Rebels, and I been think about getting a Bill Norman long bill. :lol:

Last couple years used x-raps, countdowns and yozouri minnows...all suspending.
Like to keep the bait down in cold water. This winter, for the most part, switched to LC 100 DD SP and crank it down, dig up the bottom and have had pretty good success everywhere. Big bait, throws good.
