just curious what everyones favorite bait on a shakey head is? Mine is probably the Trick Worm since you can bite it down to whatever size you need.

For smaller baits I use Softy's finesse or trick in Green Pumpkin Purple...
I also like Softy's curl tail trick worm...
I have also had success with Softy's Ol'Monster with a 3/8oz Bagley's head...
I like Softy's baits better than other factory soft baits because they all float...
And they are softer... But it's like Softy says...
Soft baits catch more fish... Softer baits catch bigger fish...

THEY TEND TO STAND UP FAR BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SOFT PLASTICS THAT I HAVE TANK TESTED, I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE , BUT I DON'T THINK HE USES ANY SALT IN HIS FORMULAS, BUT SOME ALMOST SMELL LIKE BACON....WORKS GREAT !!!

:hmm: Welcome to the site Weeble. I would say the bait maker your referring to does not use salt in his baits if they float because weight is added to baits when salt is used causing the baits to sink. I'm just curious about one thing and that is in your post you state that your Preference HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE NEW WHACK-UM baits. If these baits are NEW how can they have always been your preference :?: I am just curious because your post sounds more like a salesmans pitch than an angler telling folks what his favorite shakey head bait may be.......... :hmm:

i like a zoom swamp crawler in green pumkin its a slinder worm and some what soft i think i get a better hook set with this worm than other worms
