Hi Broman, Glad to hear your wanting to make soft baits. It is very interesting to do and very challenging at times. I am going to make a few suggestions to you and you can follow them or not but I have been doing this for almost 20 years now. First off I looked at the Wine Box plastic and did not even give it much more than a thought before passing on it. When preparing to pour plastic the plastisol must be thoroughly mixed or shook up and I think that would be almost impossible to do in that type of container. I just went and read some of the reviews on the Caney Creek Products and one said that you can go a couple weeks with out mixing it. I don't think so!!!!! If you don't mix it every time you use it your not going to get a uniform bait product when finished. Like I said, I have made bait for almost 20 years and I have tried about every plastisol product out there and I will only use Lurecraft 536 which is what I have been using over last 15 years. I don't know how much material is in those Wine Containers but I purchase my plastisol in 5 gallon pails and get 5 pails at a time. If you going to make baits you will want to use the best material available whether it is for just your self or for sale. If you would like to send me your phone number in a PM here or send it to
softbaitmaker@yahoo.com I would be more than glad to talk with you about it and help you in any way I can.
Take care
