When's the earliest/latest in the year that you'll throw a blade? Do you wait for a certain water temp, conditions, or time of year?

All year long....It's rare day when I don't throw a Spinnybait a few times. Right now you need it small and slow. 1/2oz Mini-me w/ a single mag. willow #4 blade....CYA

I definately throw it all year. I just vary the blade combinations, weights, and retieves. The water has to have a little stain to it for me to be comfortable though. And I have noticed many springs when it seemed like 56 degrees was the magic number.

All year long - the trick is speed and depth. In cold water I turn it to where it barely stays off the bottom. On a june morning I might burn it on top.

When I have used everything plastic in the boat and don't catch a bass I will pick up a blade and throw it at everything I can see and some things I can't see and do the kevin Van Dam routine of trollimg motor on high and covering all the water possible....... :lol:
