Well put 391. Wire size and proper wiring are too important to mess up.

That's some good info. I went from a 12 v system to a straight 24v. I had problems until I got the proper wire size. It still tripped until I went from a 40amp to a 50amp breaker. You can get at Portronics for about $7. Now I can't go under bridges with my TM on 5 [too much wake]. lol

rubberworm made a good point on the 50 amp breaker. I too have gone from 12v to 24v and the breaker is good on both12v and 24v, because it keeps your batteries from using to much amp and running out of power before the end of a long day fishing. It will laso help the life of your batteries. :lol:

Jel, are you saying the the breaker does that??? All it does it protect your system from trying to draw too much amperage>>> retiredguy
