Anybody know if they make an extension for the power cord? I just replaced my 2 bank with a 3 bank and the new one has only a 2 foot cord. I wouldn't worry about it, but there is a hole already cut beside the drivers seat where the original cord came through in one of those rubber capped things. I don't know what else I could put in the hole so I would like to use it. Any other ideas?

If you haven't installed it yet, take it back, you know they have them with longer cords... good luck retiredguy

I already installed it. I didn't know they made them both ways. I couldn't find that information on their website, nor anything else useful.

If your talking about the AC input side you could cut and splice a section of 12/3 wire, use crip connectors and get a can of liquid electric tape then use the existing hole, seening that you are only going to add a short section you wouldn't have any problem with current drop only warranty if it were to fail under the warranty time.

How about using a short drop cord?

I have done it in the past with no problems.

I use a short Drop cord too. It's a hy. duty #12 wire kind cut down to about 8'.... Stupid Saftey man won't let us "splice/tape/fix" any cut cords so I have to put new ends on them....sometimes they're to short for "werk" so I have to use them @ home!!! LOL
