Thanks for the input. All wires seem to be connected well. The back of the plug had some corrosion built up so I cleaned that as well as the plug itself. I am getting 39 volts out of the batteries to the fuse buss. I don't know what the wires do from the buss, but where the wires come into the back of the plug (on the wires specifically, one positive and one negative going into the back of the plug) I'm only getting 25.4 volts, both resting and under load. I wish I knew more about how this 36v system should be wired.....
What next?
