i have a 95 johnson 150 faststrike. had the vro bypassed and now the motor will run a short distance then the primer bulb loses its prime. had someone tell me that the gas side of the vro could have went out too. any suggestions?

Yes you can get a fuel only pump for about $340. It looks just like a VRO but without the oil pump.
