So the back of my boat can fit a total of 4 batteries. My current on-board charger has given up and was stock. It is a 2 bank charger. I'm looking at a new one but had a few questions especially for future growth.
So I have a 12v trolling motor currently but wanted to upgrade to a 24v one day. Also currently all my electronics is wired to my cranking battery which I want to separate them to it's own battery. Eventually I'll have 4 batteries total. So when looking for a on-board charger could I go with a 3 bank charger to get all 4 batteries charged since the 24v is all wired together or will I still have to go with a 4 bank charger to get all 4 batteries charged? Any input will be much appreciated. Thanks ahead.

You may want to got with 2- two bank chargers. If one bank goes out you want have to buy another 4 banker. just another cheeper 2 banker

Thanks guys. After reading the wiring diagram more in-depth for a couple of brands I was thinking all of this incorrect. If I plan on having 4 batteries in the back I'll need a 4 bank charger it looks like.

If your intrested, I have a 80lb MK and a 3 bank charger for sale. They are both 08 models. I have it hooked it up to my little pond boat and it works great.
