i just noticed that the steering torque tab on the foot of my 150 is GONE :shock:

I noticed the other day that it had turned to the side so i guess it decided to leave me :lol:

I didnt notice any problems with driving the boat it acted like it always has like a caddilac. Should i replace it or will it hurt to run it without it?

If it was unpainted aluminum then I would replace it because it is probably a sacrificial anode meaning that it attracts corrosion to it instead of one of the more important engine components!

Knowing how the Japanese love to copy us Americans, your tab should have had a water passage that deflected water to the hub when running. I would order a replacement and install it with the appropriate bolt and a dab of Lock-tite blue. :thumbs_up:
