IDK the diferences in a R70 vs a R71 (other than the 71 is a newer boat) ...... but here's a few links off BBC with guys running 115's, 125's, and one guy running a 130 Hammer ........ looks like 22" Laser II is what most of the Merc guys are running ........ if it was my boat, I'd try/borrow a Merc 22" Laser II ......... most of those guys have jackplates as well ..... if you don't have a plate, you might have to drop pitch some.
