1996 Johnson Fast Strike on a '96 288 Stratos. J150GLEDB Ser. 04107126 The trim gauge is working but when the motor is trimmed all the way down the gauge shows about a 1/4 the way up. Is there an adjustment to fix it or do I need to replace it.

I think you can adjust it. Trim the motor all the way up. On the inside of the motor bracket, in the upper right you'll see the trim sending unit. I think where the top bolt hole goes in, you can loosen it and adjust it.
I could be wrong, but its early and I'm still alittle bit asleep..lol
