OK I have a 96 procraft. I checked for power back on the sensor on the tank and get no power, is that correct. I just really don't know how it is suppose to be wired. Any help would be great.

The sending unit in the tank doesnt put out power. To check it you will need to use your OHM meter. I beleive it should read 32 ohms empty and 180 full, maybe vice versa cant remember.
On your fuel guage at the console, you should have switched 12v power, ground, and the sender wire. Make sure not to touch the 12v power to the sender as it'll kill it.
