in process of working on a 94 Procraft 180 pro with a mercury 150 xri. this boat has a deeper hull and is heavier than todays 18' 6" boats, but im only getting 41.5mph ,by gps, trimed out at WOT. the prop is a turning point 19pitch. were these boats slow by design or could it be a prop issue??
Thanks

I guess we'd need to know the RPM you are turning at wide open throttle, how deep below the pad is the centerline of your prop shaft. ETC
