Hi Everyone!
I've been a reader from the beginning but this is my first post. I really enjoy the forum.
Now to my question. I have a 1999 Suzuki 150 that I've had since 2000 and it's never failed me. I've always run Suzuki oil in it but now I'm having a hard time finding it. I called the 3 closest Suzuki dealers and none of them had any. I asked the nearest dealer if he could order it and he said yes but when he went to check the price he said the number was not coming up in the system. Looks like Suzuki may be getting away from the 2 stroke market and going to all 4 stroke. I've always been a believer that you run the oil you've always run but it looks like I may have to change. I'm looking for suggestions on what to run in this Suzuki.
Thanks,
Big B

in reference to your question, yes they are going all 4 stroke if they have not already. If your motor is not a dfi and is a reg carb use merc prem plus if DFI use DFI oil from either merc or rude/johnny. hope this helps

Yep no more suzuki oil 2 stroke oil.
Use Evinrude XD 50. Its a synthetic blend & has carbon guard which will help your motor last longer.
Good luck
Mike
