The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail will kick off the SC Upstate Division starting on Keowee, Feb. 18, 2012 from Mile Creek park on Lake Keowee. The Fishers of Men is the largest, Christian based bass fishing tournament circuit in the country with over 80 team and legacy Divisions located across the country. The Fishers of Men tournament trail consists of 5 local division tournaments where the top 20 teams based on points advance to the regionals where fishermen compete for a top prize of more than $35,000. Top finishers in the regionals advance to the National tournament and compete for a top prize of more than $70,000. The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail began as a 4 division tournament in 1998 whose primary focus was to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to fishermen and their families through professionally run tournaments. The Trail has now grown to the largest fishing circuit in the country. Each tournament consists of a tournament meeting at a local host church where fishermen and their families are treated to a meal, guest speaker, raffle prizes, and tournament information on the friday night before the tournament. The saturday tournament runs from safelight to 3pm. For more information about the Fishers of Men, go to
