Dear fellow Fishers of Men members and friends, we are asking that you please keep the Mark Cawthon family in your prayers. For those who have not heard the news yet, Mark lost his battle to Colon cancer this past week at the age of 49. His wife Tracey needs our prayers as she copes with this tremendous loss. For our new members who may have a hard time placing the name, Mark fished with his wife Tracey in the male/female division of the Fishers of Men and has the bright yellow Bullet Bassboat with Merc 250 proxs. God Blessed Mark and His wife this past year with a win at Clarks Hill when he was so sick from the Chemo treatments. This wonderful gentleman will be missed greatly. We will be dedicating the tournament on Keowee to Mark's memory. The comfort we take from this is found in Romans 8:28 and myself along with Shaw Grigsby have this embroidered on our tournament shirts..."In all things, God works to the good for those who love him, for those who are called according to his purpose." Because Mark accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we also find the comfort of knowing he is in the presence of God and that we will one day again, "wet a hook" with our friend. God Bless to all.
