Thanks to everyone that came out to beat the heat in last nights OPEN on Lake Hartwell. We had 27 teams show up.. but the bass didn't get the memo. I know everyone doesn't weigh in but of the 10 teams that did stick around to weigh in.. there were only 4 with a 5 fish limit. We had one of those "so called" limits but our total weight was only 4.81 pounds. We caught fish on a fluke before dark and worms after dark and had to measure every fish we caught. (not fun) RESULTS as follows:

1st place... Davis / Childress with 10.78 pounds
2nd place... Ryan / Brian Leslie with 8.82 pounds
3rd place... Cates / Gibson with 8.23 pounds
BIG FISH went to Davis / Childress with a nice 4.40 lb largemouth

Nix / Phillips also had a nice 4.22 lb largemouth but it was their only fish. Still, it almost beat our best 5. LOL

Well, that's it for the club OPENS this year. Thanks again for coming out and fishin' with us. I hope some of you guys come out to fish the FALL OPENS that I have scheduled on Hartwell. They start Oct 1st and go every other Saturday until Dec 10th.
