We had a great turnout for this tournament because there were 44 teams participating. However the bass didn't want to play with all of them. There were only 26 teams that weighed in a 5 bass limit and only 10 sacks over 10 pounds. But these guys always catch them and it took over 12 pounds to get in the money. Results as follows:
1st Place... Anderson / Ellenburg with 13.31 pounds
2nd Place... Jones / Morris with 12.44 pounds
3rd Place... Gravely / Evett with 12.27 pounds
Big Fish went to Caleb Wright and Logan Warfield with a nice 4.53 pound bass. Please note that these are high school boys representing Travelers Rest High and doing it well.
This was our first CLOSED event for 2018 and we now have 75 paid members now. This assures us that we should have at least 30 boats in each event going forward. Thanks guys!
