Post subject: Cowboy's Lake Jocassee RESULTS

Really had a good turnout at Jocassee with 41 teams in the tournament. And there were a lot of big bass caught too. A couple of teams really kicked butt by having over 20 pounds and one of them having 3 bass right at 6 pounds. Bass were seen bedding and roaming, which was to be expected on Jocassee at this time of the year. We probably saw 40 or so beds but only 4 with bass on them and only one where the fish was locked on. We caught all of our fish on a tx rig lizard. Results as follows:

1st Place... Blackwell & W Anders with 22.88 pounds (3 over 6 pounds)
2nd Place.... Coggins & Masters with 22.33 pounds (one over 7 pounds)
3rd Place... Barnette & Barnette with 15.36 pounds
BIG FISH... was the 7.44 lber caught by L Masters (busted the SIX pound pot and took home $2210 for that fish)

Thanks again to everyone for coming out an fishing with me on Saturday. Hope to see you again in two weeks on Lake Keowee.
