We're going to have two OPEN night tournaments before we close out our 2018 tournament season. Both of these events will be NIGHT tournaments. The first one is on Lake Keowee (7/14) and then two weeks later we'll be on Lake Hartwell. These will be "open" to anyone that wants to fish with us and we should have 30+ boats in each event.

Lake Keowee - Mile Creek Landing
Saturday, July 14th
6:00 PM till Midnight
$25 Entry fee per boat - includes the big fish entry
(no side port & no SIX Pound pot)

5 bass limit - 12 inch minimum
Hot Hole and Skimmer Wall are off limits
No Live Bait and No Trolling

Don't hesitate to contact me if you want more info on this event or the club.

Thanks
Cowboy

Randy would you have anything against someone taking up a $20 sidepot for this tournament for payout to the top 2 places?

Yes and No....
I don't do the side pots in my events, and I would prefer you not to, because it's just another thing for my old butt to keep up with. I really only do the SIX POUND pot in the closed events by popular demand of the club members. I realize it is a actually one of the things that pull some anglers into joining the club because it can have a big payout.

Now, having said that. I would not tell you and your friends that you can't have a side bet between yourselves. As long as you control it totally and it does not interfere with the tournament. Meaning that you collect the cash and record the names on your document. Obviously, you can use the weights that I already do for any participants in my tournament.
