It was really tough to get a limit on Keowee in this tournament and even more difficult to get any good bites. Everybody said that they caught short fish and only a few had a limit. There were only 6 limits weighed in and we had 28 boats in the tournament. There were only two 3 pounders and one 4 pounder but a couple of guys said they lost one over 5 pounds. RESULTS as follows:

1st Place.. Morris / Porter with 11.62 pounds
2nd Place... Hoyle with 8.87 pounds
3rd Place... Poore / Holcombe with 8.11 pounds
Big Bass... George / Duty with a nice 4.17 pounder

Sorry that I don't have pictures of the 8 pound sacks... but you guys all know what 8 pounds of spotted bass looks like. And most of you know what Hoyle, Holcombe, and Poore look like. LOL

Thanks to all of you guys for coming out and fishing and I hope to see you in two weeks on Lake Hartwell when we do another NIGHT OPEN tournament. (Sat. 7/28 out of Twin Lakes)
