Really nice day on Hartwell and most everyone reported catching a lot of bass. Most of the fish were in the 1.5 to 2 pound range and a ton of boats weighed in 9 or 10 pounds. We had 36 boats compete and there were 20 limits weighed in. There were only 5 sacks over 10 pounds but there were 10 sacks between 9 and 10 pounds. There were 7 bass between 3 and 5 pounds but no one caught a giant today. RESULTS as follows:

1st Place... Bennett / Burroughs with 14.07 pounds
2nd Place... Holcombe / Poore with 12.85 pounds
3rd Place... Kimbrell / Davis with 11.53
Big Bass also went to Holcombe / Poore with the only bass over 4 pounds (4.21)

Thanks to everyone for coming out and fishing and I hope to see you guys at Jocassee in two weeks.

No, don't have a web site. Just use SCLakes to get my info out to the fishing public. If you want to send me an email I will add you to my distribution list for any updates about the club. We only have one event left in the 2018 regular season but then I start some FALL tournaments.... and they DO NOT require any membership. It's just a chance for you guys to check out the club and see if it is something you might be interested in for next year.
