This season will be pretty much the same as the previous years. We will have 15 tournaments with 4 OPENs (for everyone) and 11 CLOSED (to members). Membership is $25 per person (youth under 16 yrs old is free) and tournaments are $25 per boat. I've had over 125 members each year and 100% of that cash goes towards the Championship. I pay out 80% at each tournament and keep 20% for the Championship. I pay out 3 places and big fish in each tournament. The first tournament is an OPEN event and it is on Lake Keowee out of Mile Creek. I expect to have around 50 boats for this tournament so come and check out Cowboy's Castaways bassin' club.

No trolling allowed... No live bait allowed... Hot hole and skimmer wall are off limits. (Can not be within 100 yards of the skimmer wall)
We will have random live well checks on the morning of the event. We will blast off in the order of the paid entry. (no early entries prior to the event) I will have a table set up by the restrooms around 5:00 am to start taking registrations.

This first tournament is an OPEN event so we do not keep points or collect money for the club's "6 pound pot". You will not be required to pay any membership for this event but I will be accepting membership fees if you want to go ahead and pay for the season. It's a good bunch of guys that are just weekend anglers and retired old farts.

NOTE: Club rules do not allow sponsored, semi-pro, or pro anglers.

Just wanted to bump the announcement up before it left the page. Hope you guys can come out and fish. Should have over 30 boats in the first one.

Hey guys remember that the BFL is on Keowee this Saturday as well so be careful.

Thanks for the info on the BFL. I'm just happy they are putting in at the lower end of the lake. At least the boat ramp at Mile Creek won't be that bad. Just going to be crowed on the water throughout the day.
FYI to everyone that is coming....... I plan on being at the ramp by 5 am to begin registration. I will be collecting entry fees ($25 per boat) and membership fees ($25 per person) from those that want to go ahead and pay membership. Please try to have correct change.

ALSO>>> If you're coming, please be there as early as possible. I plan on blasting off as soon as I can see across the lake. (safe light is probably somewhere around 6:30 am)

There IS NOT going to be a SIX POUND pot because this is not a closed tournament. Don't hesitate to call if you have questions.
