Thanks to everyone for coming out and fishing with us Saturday. Would have been great if the bass had been biting better. I had 42 boats come out and fish but only 11 had sacks over 10 pounds. And only 13 teams weighed in a 5 bass limit. However, some of the guys said the fishing was great and they caught them all day. We didn't catch a fish until after lunch and only had 4 when it was over. Caught all of ours on a shakey head. RESULTS as follows:

1st Place... Tidwell with 14.70 pounds
2nd Place... Crumpton / Harper with 12.23 pounds
3rd Place... Gibson / Gibson with 11.97 pounds
BIG BASS... Crumpton with a nice 4.57 lb largemouth

Most everyone was surprised that the bass didn't bite any better than they did and only 6 fish over 3 pounds were weighed in. But that also means that the SIX POUND pot didn't get busted.. and there were a lot of guys hoping to grab that cash. It should get hammered in our next tournament because it's on Hartwell at the end of March. Great time for the big girls to be munchin'. Hope to see you there.
