We had another great turnout for the tournament with 38 teams participating. I think the heat and post spawn really zapped the bass because the fishing was not great. There were only 22 teams with a 5 bass limit and only 4 teams over 10 pounds. There were only 4 fish caught over 3 pounds. Most everyone said they caught their limit really early before it got so hot. We had one of the 10 pound sacks with 10.42 lbs and had our limit within the first 10 minutes of the day.

RESULTS as follows:

1st Place... Monkus / Wyatt with 10.76
2nd Place... Martin / Martin with 10.63
3rd Place... Clark / Clark with 10.57
Big Bass... Martin / Martin with 3.73

Other News:
1. We took in 3 new members Sat and that takes our total membership to 131.
2. The SIX POUND pot didn't get busted and is now over $3000. Please note that you must be a paid member and have fished at least 3 tournaments in order to get in the 6 lb pot.
3. With memberships and tournament monies we now have over $4200 towards the end of year Championship and there are still 7 events left to fish.
