We had 24 boats in this event and most said that the fish was tough because of the weather. I can't imagine why.. LOL It was really nice when we blasted off at 6pm but turned nasty in a hurry. By 7pm the sky was dark and then came the downpour with thunder / lightening that last until the end of the tournament. However, the bass bit better for me and my partner while the storm was on us. We caught fish on everything from soft plastics to buzz baits and spinnerbaits. Results as follows:

1st Place... J Anders / Glouse with 11.77 lbs (only sack over 10 lbs)
2nd Place... Woodall / Woodall with 9.37 lbs
3rd PLace... Rose / Griffith with 9.20 lbs.
Big Bass also went to Rose / Griffith with a nice 4 pounder

Thanks to everyone for coming out and fishing this event. Hope to see you in two weeks on Lake Hartwell when we have another OPEN (night) tournament out of Twin Lakes. I'll post this event separately.
