Why do the tournaments in this area have such low turnouts? Other states have 50-100 boats in weeknight tournaments. Everybody around here is a bunch of damn pussies. Say something.

I don't fish night tournaments because I don't trust some of the people running around in the dark. I've seen the way some of run in the day light. Also I would fish more tournament during daylight hours but almost every tournament posted here is for teams and I like to fish alone.

I think it's because there are just so many tournament formats to choose from and there are no major tournament trials in the area. IE: I manage a club where it's only $25 to fish so I get a lot of weekend anglers just because it's cheap. I usually have 30 to 40 boats and I'm happy with that. But I don't get a lot of other guys because it's just not worth their time unless they have nothing else to do. Then there's the $100 events that attracts those big dogs and have large payouts but does not interest my group only because of the costs. And there's Tri City right in between and he gets a lot of guys because there is a great payout at each event but not enough to draw 100 teams. And that's only a drop in the bucket regarding all the clubs that fish these lakes each month. Plus there are guys that only want to fish certain lakes so they may not come to Hartwell if there's an event on Keowee, even if the Keowee event is smaller.

So it's like all the guys have so many options to fish and that limits tournaments from having the 100 boat turnout.

Fish2much, I've fished some of the opens you have put on. But these are still for teams. Yes, you can fish solo in these but them you have to fish against 2. Just saying it would be nice to see some tournaments where it one on one.

I would love to see more single tournaments as well, but I don't mind fishing single in a team tournament. I think at times, the advantage is with the single.

ABA does this. Sunday tournaments, I think?

However, I have seen some of you with two people and how you do at the ramp and I think most of you need the help.

Then go to another state and fish...............................
