It's time to get started with the 2020 Schedule on Hartwell. Our first Hartwell tournament of the year will be OPEN so that you guys can come and check out the club and how I run the blast off and weigh ins. I expect around 30 boats for this event, maybe more is the weather is good.

Lake Hartwell -- Twin Lakes
Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020
Safe light till 3 pm (I'll start taking entries around 5:15 am)
$25 entry fee per boat (team event but you can fish alone)
There will also be an optional SIDE POT of $20 for those that are interested in a little more investment / payout. This is a "winner takes all" pot that only pays out to teams that participate.

No live bait and no trolling
All state and local laws apply
SCDNR requires that life jackets be worn when the outboard motor is running.

NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED for this event but I will be collecting memberships ($25 per person) if anyone is ready to join. Send me a quick email if you're interested in joining the club and I'll send you a copy of the 2020 Rules, Schedule, and Membership form.

Why schedule every tournament to conflict with the BFL? I am just curious as to the thinking behind it.

It's not intentional. I schedule the same weekends every year and I don't go online to see if any other events are being held on that particular weekend. (pros, college, high school, etc) Also, I wouldn't be able to change the schedule because of things in my personal life.
