I have a question. What are the steps on putting a tournment on? I am a firefighter in spartanburg and wanting to put a tournament on. I have fished in alot but never put one on. I know keowee fd is still have there tournament on the 25th of this and dnr gave them ok. Just wondering what the steps are?

The only reason Keowee Fire Dept is allowed to have theirs is because the permit was pulled back in December and they are honoring it. They have stated that no new permits we be given at this time. They also said the DNR will be on site along with possible law enforcement to make sure everyone abides by the 6’ distancing etc. But I highly recommend doing this for your Dept at sometime, this is our only fundraiser we do every year. The big key is to raise up sponsors to help with making payouts larger if possible.
