What in THE HELL?????
I knew SOMEBODY would have to do this. Cant stand it, gotta have one!! Block all the damn parking in the tiny lot! NO , the upper lot will NOT be open. Parks do not open til May 1st.
Damn, someone needs to use a little common sense sometimes instead of LETS HAVE A TOURNAMENT and take up ALL the parking!!

Cousinito. Hopefully I got that right. The issue that you are speaking off does not lie with a pickup tournament on a Saturday. The true issue is the lack of common sense between Duke and the State Park. There are state park employees present even though the park is closed. They could easily open the upper lot if they wanted to and close off the foot access to the facilities. Instead, they create a lack of social distancing on the lower lot. They should also ticket vehicles with no boat trailers. And while I’m on a roll, the courtesy dock is meant for 5 minutes loading or unloading. Not for bringing coolers and music to have a party. Not singling you out, but you might want to use your energy on the real issues. We could use your help.

akneal, While you are correct on the other issues, especially ticketing vehicles with NO trailers, the tournament is still most of the problem. I assume 35-40 showed up for saturdays tournament. I saw a long line of tournament boats coming in saturday morning. With such limited parking, regardless of the why, it was pretty selfish to schedule a tournament anyway. Right now, with the limited parking, everything is an issue. Hopefully they will open the upper lot friday when the parks open. The lower lot was slam full on wednesday afternoon. If you try to go on the weekend , you better be there at 530 if someone else decides to have another tournament.
