We had 48 teams come out and fish this event and most everyone had a good day catching fish. Some guys reported catching more than 25 bass during the day but just could not fine the two pounders. However, there are always some guys that find the right fish. There was one right at 6lbs and two sacks over 15 pounds. There were 27 teams with a 5 bass limit but only 7 teams with sacks over 10 pounds. We had one of those 10 lb limits and caught our fish early on spinnerbaits, topwater, and draggin plastics on points. Results as follows:

1st Place... Craig / Howell with 17.27 pounds
2nd Place... Sloan / Turner with 15.40 pounds
3rd Place... Anthony / Raines with 12.44 pounds
Big Bass went to Sloan with one that weighed 5.99 pounds

The club took in another 5 members on Saturday. This takes the total membership up to 168 and our Championship payout is already over $5000 with 6 more events to come. Thanks again to everyone for coming out and fishing this tournament. Hope to see all of you guys in two weeks on Lake Jocassee.
