Great turnout for this tournament. Must not have been anything else going on this weekend. I had 55 boats show up to fish the event. It was a cold start at 30 degrees but it warmed up quickly and so did the bite. I know we caught fish all day and heard the same from many others. Also heard that bass were caught on all types of lures and at all depths. There were 25 limits and 13 sacks over 10 pounds. There were 7 over 3 lbs, 4 over 4 lbs, and 2 over 5 lbs. RESULTS AS FOLLOWS:
1st place... Mr Aiken with 16.27 pounds.
2nd place... Jayme / Jaymeson Rampey with 15.98 pounds
3rd place... Thompson / Root with 15.08 pounds
Big Bass... Hoover / McClellam with 5.59 pounds
There were other good sacks and near misses and a lot of guys mentioned having big bass get off at boat. I have to apologize because I somehow lost a few of the pictures that were taken. (like 1st place)
Thanks to everyone for coming out to fish and I hope to see you in two weeks when I start the 2021 Points Season on Lake Keowee. It should be a good one and I expect at least 40 boats.
