Cowboy's 2021 Bass Club season starts Saturday (3/6/20) on Lake Keowee. We always have a good turnout for the club opener but I do want to remind you guys that this is a CLOSED tournament and membership is required. The dues are only $25 per person and the entry is also $25. (per boat) Contact me prior to the event and I'll send you a membership form along with a copy of the Rules.
NOTE: No memberships granted to semi-pro or pro fishermen. Also, children under the age of 16 have free membership when fishing with a paid member.

Saturday, March 6th
Lake Keowee - Mile Creek Landing
Safe light till 3:00 pm (please be in the water before safelight - 6:30)
5 fish - 12 inch minimum - bag limits
No live bait - No trolling
Hot Hole and Skimmer Wall are off limits (no boat allowed within 100 yards of the wall)
All state and local laws apply
The club pays out 3 places and big fish during each event (1st, 2nd, 3rd & Big fish) regardless of the number of boats. I pay out 100% of the Big Fish entry and 80% of the remaining monies. The remaining cash, and all membership dues, are saved to be paid out in the Championship at the end of the year.
There are two side bets that some of the guys get into.
1.. It's a SIX POUND pot that cost $10 per boat / per tournament and it keeps building until someone catches a bass that is 6 lbs or better during one of our closed tournaments.
2.. It's a $20 SIDE POT for those guys that just want to invest more for a bigger payout. This only pays out to those who choose to participate and all the money goes to the participating team with the most weight.
