This season will be pretty much the same as the previous years. We will have 15 tournaments with 4 OPENs (for everyone) and 11 CLOSED (to members). Membership is $25 per person (youth under 16 yrs old is free) and the tournament fees are $25 per boat. I will have an optional "side pot" of $20 in all tournaments for you guys that wish to wager a little more than the $25 entry fee. The "side pot" will only pay out additional money to the teams that choose to participate.

I had almost 180 members last year and 100% of that cash goes towards the Championship. I pay out 80% at each tournament and keep 20% for the Championship. I pay out 3 places and big fish in each tournament. The first tournament is an OPEN event and it is on Lake Keowee out of Mile Creek. I expect to have around 40 boats for this tournament so come and check out Cowboy's Castaways bassin' club.

No trolling allowed... No live bait allowed... Hot hole and skimmer wall are off limits. (Can not be within 100 yards of the skimmer wall)
We will have random live well checks on the morning of the event. We will blast off in the order of the paid entry. (no early entries prior to the event) I will have a table set up by the restrooms around 5:30 am to start taking registrations.

This first tournament is an OPEN event so we do not keep points or collect money for the club's "6 pound pot". You will not be required to pay any membership for this event but I will be accepting membership fees if you want to go ahead and pay for the season. It's a good bunch of guys that are just weekend anglers and retired old farts.

NOTE: Club rules do not allow pro anglers to become members but they are allowed to participate in the OPEN tournaments.

Want to alert all of you that I've been told there will be 4 tournaments on Keowee this weekend and 3 of those out of Mile Creek. That will put approx 60 boats at Mile Creek so please get there early enough to have your entry paid and be in the water before 7am. I would like to blast off around 7 am and don't want to leave anyone at the dock.
