The championship on Lake Keowee was a blast. Most everyone said the bass were biting and we had some greats sacks at the weigh in. I had 18 teams qualify this year and 11 of those had a limit with 9 sacks over 10 pounds. I know we boated fish all day and had one just under 5 lbs that I caught on a frog... but we only had 11.54 which was good enough for 5th place. We caught our fish on the frog, spinnerbait, Pop-R, Buzz Bait, and soft plastics. Results as follows:
1st place.. Blackwell / Wyatt with 17.04 pounds ($1800)
2nd place... Addis / Addis with 16.20 pounds ($1300)
3rd place... Gibson / Pearson with 13.72 pounds ($900)
4th place... Hardin / Hardin with 12.46 pounds ($600)
BIG BASS... Blackwell / Wyatt with 5.43 pounds ($1000)
We paid out over $6000 in cash prizes and cash awards this year.

2022 BIG STRINGER - Addis / Addis with 22.34 lbs at Jocassee ($200)
2022 BIG BASS - Roach / Roach with 8.5 lbs at Keowee ($100)
