I fished L. Summit last night too and the results were surprisingly different from Shotcaller's on L. Keowee... We had 12 boats and it only took 7.8lbs to win... We got 2nd place with ONE fish ... a spot that went 2lb 14 oz.. big fish went 4lb 2oz.

Last week it took 12lbs or so to win and we had 3rd with 8lbs 4 oz... and were 4 oz out of the money with only 10 boats competing.. This week the fish stayed home and hid...

every tues night... 6pm to 10pm... $40/boat

Exit 5 on hwy 25.

Sure wish someone could explain to me why they were biting in Keowee and not at Summit!! Bass fishing is a mystery sometimes.

Last night we had a fellow bring in a nice 3lb 4oz fish to the scale that would have taken OURS but he also brought in a SHORT fish and his largest was taken ... That's the 3rd time we have had that problem this year... He claimed its the only TX he ever fished... I even told him as he was caring it to the scales that it looks small. He just didn't know about TX rules I guess and didn't ask. That's too bad.

I guess the NC Fishing Regs had him confused as the first 2 fish can be small. BUT not TX rules.

It cost him.
