Cooter you can catch spots around the hot hole area off and on all day but expect plenty of company. CR with green pumpkin 4" lizard works for me. Stripers bite pretty good usually from an hour before daylight till about an hour after. Ditto for the afternoon striper bite. I always fish there at night only, never seem to have much competition, and the striper bite is better. You don't have to go completely up in the hot hole, the warm water drifts across to some islands across from it, and the fishing can be good there as well. You can also try the hot hole area up near Hagers. I was up there about two weeks ago though, and did better fishing rocky points 15' to 25'.
