Mtn island is a pretty tough lake, this time of year you can go to the hot water discharge ( take a left leaving the riverbend landing) and catch fish in there with a fluke or small jerkbait, they will be small fish but will catch many. Also fish the docks with a small worm on a shakey head. Now head to Norman and catch some good fish!!

Thanks for the info. I'll be heading to Norman regularly in about a month. Great shallow crankbait bite!
