Fished in a club Tx on 11/11 off of the back of somebody else's boat. He fished extermely fast looking for active fish with Rtraps and Cbaits and we didn't do too well. I had one 2 pound fish and he had two two pound fish. Decided to go back today. The lake was up even higher than last week. Still no winter draw down. Bushes and brush along shore were flooded. Hit the same rocky banks that I normally would fish with a crankbait in the fall, but I threw a white chatterbait in the bushes. Varied the speed alot - pausing it like a crankbait. Also fished a green and white Gulp plug and JnP. Had zero bites on the JnP, several short fish on the plug a had some nice keepers on the chatterbait. Was amazed how well it worked. Most fish were in 1 to 6 feet of water. They didn't strike hard but had plenty of fight in them. Best 5 were 3-03, 3-02. 2-12, 2-04, 2-04. Not a bad day for Cooter.

Chatterbait has been pretty good PM. Late summer bite on Green pumpkin when they wouldn't hit a spinnerbait was pretty good. I vary the retrieve a lot like a crankbait. They hit it on the pause yesterday.
