Fished Lake Hickory Saturday 3/3/07 from 7:45a-2:45 p. Water temps in the morning were around 45-46 degrees and warmed up about 1-2 degrees throughout the day. This was the first time I had been on the lake and I found it hard to find structure to fish (at least the kind I'm used to). Ended up landing 6 bass and lost 3. Caught fish mostly on crankbaits in shallow water with a couple of the smaller fish coming on a spinnerbait. Wind got really strong around 1 pm. Biggest 2 fish were about 3lbs each. All in all, not a bad trip for early spring. Tight Lines and good luck!
