I am taking a trip to Shearon Harris in the next month or two. I have read lots of good things about catching some nice fish, and I would like to see what having some vegetation in the water looks like (I spend most of my days at Wylie where this is unheard of). Does anyone have recommendations for the lake? Best ramps, nearest boat-friendly hotel, best maps, etc? And of course, anyone that would give any bait and tackle tips, they would be greatly appreciated.
