I talked to them a little more. The only map they can give us is just an outline of the lake, no contour. It just doesn't exist. They could have someone go out and map out the contour but that is a LOT of money and they don't feel like they could sell enough of them. I've talked to usgs, spartanburg historical society, corps of engineers, spartanburg water and other places. The map from southern sportsman is the best one you are going to find. I found one other map that supposedly showed the river channel, I checked it and it was way off all over the lake, it was probably the original channel that has changed over the last 70 years.
