We had a good turnout for our 7th and final tournament for 2009. We had 10 boats fish today with what seemed to be a beautiful day but a not-so-beautiful day of fishing. Today many found it to be pretty tough as bites were few and far between according to the fisherman. However a congrats goes out to the winners, Cory and his partner(sorry didnt know if it was LJ or not) with a nice sack of fish weighing in at 8.4lbs to take first along with big fish of the tournament at 3.8lbs also. Congrats again guys and great job on a tough day. 2nd place and final paying spot went to Marty Gardener and David Seay with a weight of 7.8 Lbs.
Thanks again to all who participated, and I hope that everyone has enjoyed themselves so far. Just a reminder that this was the last tournament of 2009 and we will be takin the next two months off, with no scheduled tournaments for December or January. We will start the New Year off right with our first tournament of 2010 on February 20th, which will be our 8th tournament of the season. If anyone is interested in fishing a small "get-together" tournament anytime between now and the February 20th tournament, please contact me and we will try to work something out. If not, I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas , and NEw Year!
