Tough day on the water with all the wind, but we all had a great time of fishing and fellowship. Thanks to all that fished and helped to make this TX possible.

1st Place - Corey Alexander and LJ ----------7.0 pounds (3 fish total)

2nd Place - James Raye ------------------------6.10 pounds (1 fish total)

3rd Place - Kelly Gardner and Jody Franklin..5.14 pounds (3 fish total)


BIG FISH - James Raye ...............................6.10 pounds


I hope you all had a good time and we hope to be able to do it again next year.

I had a wonderful time out on the water fishing, Chris and I both caught some short fish and we got broken off by a very good bass. In the end we could only get 1 keeper bass.

Thank you Preacher Todd for having this tournament for us we, really enjoyed it.

Don't know, but a total of 28 keepers were caught totaling 58.2 lbs.

IceMan it was indeed a pleasure to see you again. Sorry I didn't stick around long to BS, we still had lots of family visiting so we had to get back home.

After blasting off we headed straight to a cove to get out of the wind. It was ruff on the main lake all day. Picked up our first keeper with a CB. Shortly after that partner picked up another keeper off a JB in the same cove. It got quiet so we moved to another cove and picked up our 3rd keeper with a CB. By 9AM it got to quiet so we was just running and gunning for bigger fish. Picked up (2) more smaller fishes off CB's. About noon I had a 4+ # come unbutton at the boat with a CB. About 1PM I had another big fish come unbutton half way to the boat she bit a DS. I never saw her but from the way she took drag it would of been an upgrade. Lost some and caught some what more can we ask for, . Looking forward to next years event again .
