You made the right call Jerry.
I know its hard to call off the tournament the mourning of. But thats what a good director does to keep nuts like me safe.
That wind and cold cold water is dangerous.

We are sorry that we had to postpone todays tournament, it's just not worth jeopardizing everyones safety due to the strong winds we had today.

The Lake Bowen Big Bass Tournament is Rescheduled for next Saturday 01-09-10.

We hope everyone can make plans to join us then.

I agree 100%. You dont realize how windy it is until you get out there. Hopefully the weather will be a lil better this Saturday. Good call.

If it keeps up this cold weather it wouldn't really hurt our feelings if you pushed it back till about march to be safe

Good, safe call. I prepped to fish but in the back of my mind had doubts. Forecast still looking like 18-20 deg Sat morn. Wunderground.com calling for 40 percent chance of snow thursday nite. We'll see, heat safely, Chuck.
