Haven't seen the lake for bout 2 weeks now just wondering how it's looking. Especially after all that rain few days ago, probably made its way to mid lake by now.

The lake is stained, for the most part. Up the lake, it gets dingier, down the lake it clears up.

The weirdest thing I've seen this week is a 15-25 lb. dead catfish washed up on the rocks of the landing behind the office. Big chunk out of the side...prop, maybe? Man, it was big.

Chit that's Santee style cats. Either prop or banging on the rocks. Thanks for the info. Badger.

That cat went an easy 25 pounds, it was 3' long and probably as big around as a basketball.

Badger is right, the lake is stained up towards 26, maybe mored stained above Compton Bridge Rd.
