It was a wonderful day today. We had 27 Anglers fishing with us. Thank you to all that participated. We had 22.3 lbs of Bass brought to weigh in.

Congrats. to all who caught some fish. As usual thanks CJ and Jerry for putting on these LBBB TX's. Wonderful seeing everyone again.

I wasn't expecting to catch any fish at all, was just glad to be on the water. It's been about 1 month. We started out on some points deep cranking but nada. Moved to some main lake brushes and picked up the 3+# off CB. After that it stayed quiet for David and me. Had a follower at one point but I couldn't dupe him. Seems like as it got warmer the bite leveled off. 5 min. before coming to weigh in I had a Classic moment fish take my Spot Remover. Was at a dock, set the hook but it didn't connect. Called it a day shortly afterwards.

Congrats to all who fished. I was looking forward to catching some too, but my outboard had other plans. Backed the boat into the water and must've flooded the #$@%$ out of it. Got back home and let it sit for about 2.5-3 hrs, and tried again. Fired right up. Son of a..........Maybe I'll have better luck next month. LOL
