Opps, sorry it took so long to reply guys.
SS I made my first voyage on Lanier this past Tues. 10/20. I've been here for the last few years but didn't have a boat. Now a friend has brought his boat down from NC so we've been able to test the waters. Lake is turning over so it's stained to pretty dark in some places. We launched the other day out of Mary Alice Park with 67+ degrees at 6:30PM and when we came in at 11PM it was 65+. Our first trip we fished docks, points, and humps with some good fishes being caught. Points and humps produced, we boated 6 fishes 1 - 4+ # spots and about as many came unbutton at the boat or halfway to the boat. They bit shakey heads and jigs with the bigger 3 coming off jigs. We fished a stumpy hump and rocky point I scouted last year when the lake was 20+ ft. down and now it's all submerged. I'll spend a few months beating up the lake and hopefully get in on some of the local tournaments since I'm only 10 minutes away from Mary Alice. Still a very new lake to me.
